They opt to not use any weird herbals or ingredients that may come across as futuristic or hyped up. No, Old School Labs Vintage Burn fat burner wants to keep it real. After all, old timey bodybuilders were able to get so stacked without any of these new “hype” ingredients, surely you can too.
I also like how their capsule ain’t fancy and added with so many colors and powders. Just two ingredients in the plainest way possible. I salute that, bro.
For a better and more objective review, I’ll consider their full serving of two capsules per day.
- Green tea. This here is one of the best fat burning ingredients in existence, according to studies at least. It’s extensively reviewed and has plenty of evidence to support its ability to burn fat like a hot knife through butter. Unfortunately, Old School Labs Vintage Burn fat burner forgot to standardize it for EGCG, the one compound you want in green tea for maximum fat burning effect. The dose is generous at 660 mg, but it’s the standardization that could have made the difference.
- Green coffee bean. Green coffee bean is known for its chlorogenic acids or CGAs. CGAs help improve fat burning efficiency and it’s really well researched. However, the lack of standardization makes us cringe despite the good dose of 540 mg.
- Raspberry ketones. This is a ketone that’s not related in any way, shape, or form to the ketones the liver releases when you’re in a ketogenic state. No, raspberry ketones are the kind of fat burner that explicitly targets belly fat. The 400 mg dosage is really good considering it’s not the major fat burning ingredient in Old School Labs Vintage Burn fat burner.
- Olive leaf. Not really a fat burner, but it’s said to help trigger fat burning hormone production.
- At one capsule, the 150 mg dosage is mild and just over a cup of strong coffee’s worth of caffeine. At 300 mg, you’re talking about taking three cups in one shot! That’s a lot of energy, bro!
- Bacopa Leaf extract. Bacopa is a nootropic that can boost mood and help you cope with the mental stress of a hard workout and dieting combined. Too bad it’s not standardized for bacoside content. Otherwise the 260 mg total dose would have been really good.
- Garcinia fruit. Garcinia is known for its HCAs or hydroxycitric acid. While not a fat burner per se, it does help in blocking carb conversion to fat, technically helping you burn fat by not storing it in the first place. The total 200 mg dosage is not bad, but it could have been so much better if it was standardized for HCA content.
- This one’s tricky. Chrysin is said to help block aromatase, an enzyme that pretty much lowers testosterone by converting it to estrogen. We all want more testosterone when it comes to fat burning and muscle building. This makes sense given Old School Labs Vintage Burn fat burner’s claim of burning fat and not muscle.
- Forskohlii root. This herb boosts cAMP, a compound that helps trigger the entire fat burning process. It can also stimulate fat burning hormone production. It’s not as potent compared to the other “real” fat burners, but I’m not complaining.

What I like:
Transparency is always a good thing to have for supplements. I also like the fact that the entire label itself looks clean and their other ingredients ain’t stuffed with fluff.
The use of traditional fat burners is also commendable given the world has since been trying to out-innovate the competition. This also means Old School Labs Vintage Burn fat burner uses fat burning ingredients that can actually burn fat and not just ingredients that people think can burn fat. There’s a subtle yet definitive difference between the two, bro.
Particularly, I like seeing green tea extract, green coffee bean, garcinia, and caffeine together. These four are the most recommended fat burning ingredients to date. Seeing them all in one formula was a pleasant surprise.
Lastly, despite the longer than usual list of ingredients, Old School Labs Vintage Burn fat burner did good in keeping their fat burning strategy focused enough when it comes to weight loss. Their angle is to simply initiate thermogenesis and lipolysis (body heat generation and fat oxidation) while also preserving muscle…or at least they try to.
There’s no complicated blend or angle about it, just an old yet gold method of fat burning.
What I don’t like:
The one thing I hated about the formula is the lack of potency. The dosages were good enough especially when taken twice (if you want to superstack, it’s pretty good!), but the lack of standardization or hints of concentration turned me off. I’d also like to argue that they should have insisted on taking four capsules on the get-go for max potency. Saying “two capsules per serving with 60 servings” is quite misleading.
